1997 Subaru Impreza wagon. Just replaced battery and hazard lights are blinking whether ignition is on or off. Tried turning hazards on and off and that didn't stop it. Only removing battery stops it. LCD in radio flickers on and off also.

Under your dash by steering column,by your left knee, is a small 4" x4" box that has a small wire attached. On the end of the wire is a small button. Push the button with the ignition in the on position. It will reset the alarm system. That will stop your lights from flashing. Have a great day.

My left turn signal will not stop blinking while car is running or completely off...please help!!

Hi BJ:
Interesting...........

- Hazard lights work when ignition is turned OFF.
- Signal lights Don't work when ignition is turned off.
- Is it possible that the Right signal bulb is burned out?
- I'd be checking the functions of all of the bulbs.
How did this problem start?
Please reply as a COMMENT to this post.
Cheers.

The hazard lights come on when the engine is turned off and key removed which results in the the battery losing it's charge. Removing the battery cable is the only way we have found to turn them off.

It could just be a faulty hazard light switch or probably a problem with the lighting control module; in either case, you may need to get it replaced
