Check all your fuses, the alero hides fuses in 3 locations open the front doors on the side of the dash board on both sides you will find fuses also in the engine compartment are fuses, this was a bad design on GM's part, they should have put the fuses related to the engine in that compartment and the lights and other interior fuses in the doors..

another ting is the dimmer switch located on the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel might be rotated far enough to turn off the dash lights . this is a rotary switch next to the fog lamps if the car is so equipped

1999 lincoln town car no horn or cruise control all the fuses are good

Could be the clock spring assembly in the steering column . Do you know what that is ? The clock spring allows the buttons on the steering column to be connected to the vehicle .
How cars clock spring works
Testing the electrical with a DVOM -digital volt ohm meter is the proper way to diagnose electrical systems . Viewing wiring diagrams to see where connections are for easy testing of the circuit .

http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info . year , make , model engine . Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on speed controls . Hit the search button , then click the blue link .Scroll down to second diagram an you will see the air bag slide contacts . This is a clock spring I think , never had your type vehicle apart . Do you also have a air bag light on ?

Where the 3 wires go on back oft altinator on my 1992 celica

1992 Toyota Celica alternator connections:
The alternator has three wires that are connected at the rear of alternator by means of a connector.
One wire goes to the speed meter to light the charging bulb, other wire comes from ignition switch through fuse and the third wire has all time 12 Volts through fuse.

The reverse lights / back up lights don't work

I would say that your reverse light switch is faulty, 98% sure its on your transmission. As for your cd player, you may have to replace that with another unit.

I have a 1995 nissan pathfinder. i keep have electrical issues. when i first got it two months ago it wouldnt start. replaced battery terminals and it was fine for a while. then the meter fuse would blow...

It sounds like just the one problem. Your tails and the dash illumination lights are all on the one circuit that the fuse keeps blowing. Don't get confused thinking of another main fuse, just focus on this one circuit..
It is very seldom that a short develops at the fuse box, it certainly can happen from corrosion or loose terminals, but it is rare. More likely is a bad wire just like the one you found near the exhaust. Somewhere very likely a wire has had insulation stripped or scraped off, soon as the wire touches metal it will blow the fuse. Were any other wires damaged in that harness for the speed sensor? Or do you see any wires hanging down from under the truck, anywhere going back to the tail lights?
If you did the stereo yourself, were any wires cut going to the dash? I doubt this as the wire for the dash lights would be in a wiring harness that is like a bundle from under the dash up to the instrument cluster. You just have to keep looking for the short.

I have 2002 infinity I35 and the blower motor stop working ,I took out the blower motor to make sure was good. YES the blower motor still working .the only think I really don't know how to check is Blower...

WELL YOU HAVE TO USE A VOLT METER CONNECT ONE VOLT METER WIRES TO GOOD GROUND AND THE OTHER VOLT METER WIRES GOES TO EACH SWITCH SPEED.IF VOLT METER GET VOLTAGE A 1 OR 2 CONTROL SPEED RESISTOR BAD.IF RESISTOR BAD YOU WILL GET 1 OR 2 BLOWER MOTOR SPEEDS.IF BLOWER MOTOR WORKING.CHECK THE AC AND HEATER CONTROL SWITCH FUSE OR CHECK BLOWER MOTOR FUSE AND RELAY.IF ALL GOOD SO FAR CONTROL SWITCH ITSELF COULD BE FAULTY.
