P2763 engine light

4 engines non told, (it tells tranny that is there)
I assume shift links not bad PRNDL, but if P works and D so must R
a/t box 4T45e I guess. or 6T40 or 6t is six speeds.

1. check fuses.
2. scan the PCm for P0700 errors for tranny
3. check line pressure per service manual I have it. can tell it but takes 400 psi gauge, but here is spec for Reverse.
4. vac port at 0hg vac, 255 psi min.
5. vac port to 19inches HG, port main 74min.
6. these modern trannys have pressure regulator. that can be bad but gee the scans tell you that if true, not scanning is why you miss all that and tons more. From ATSG manual, 4T45e

When you say engine light do you mean the check engine light? A yellowish light with a tiny engine in it.

No, the problem lies elsewhere.
Get a diagnostic check done to identify the fault

My Engine Check Light Is Illuminated

Check engine light comes on and off, these are indication that there is some error code stored in your vehicles ECM. The engine module computer needs to be scanned. These will give the code and as per the error code the further problem can be detected and confirmed. The engine light indicator blinks or remains steady on dash when engine computer noticed any problem with any engine electrically operated components.

I will check the exhaust sensor, with todays gas you may have to replaced that could be the problem.

Ruled out how?

You still have codes for something

Changing trans fluid only gives you
new fluid,not a fix for anything,just
disapates heat better with new fluid

The codes are for torque converter clutch,so why not
diagnose the TCC Solenoid

To confirm the exact fault,the error code stored in engine computer module has to be retrieved.
But as why check engine light came up,for that issue there are few help link with solutions to correct the issue.========

Engine Management Light, same as a Check Engine Light... simply means a sensor component on your vehicle is malfunctioning You'll need to have someone with a tester to run diagnostics and retrieve codes to find exactly what the culprit is. Don't be surprised if it's the Throttle Positioning Sensor (TPS), common problem on BMWs

just a guess but might be a fuel pump, try smacking the tank before you start it and see if it idles better after.
