Stalls slowing down

93 century custom v6 only stalls when gas gauge reaches the half tank mark when slowing down(gauge fluxuates at slow down and turns...not sure if this is normal). I can normally tell when its going to stall and prevent it by pumping brakes and gradually slowing down at a way slower rate than normal. This tends to happen around 20-25 mph. When it does stall and I start the engine back up the rpms jump to about 2500-3000 then mellow back out. Please help asap trying to sell car

SOURCE: 2003 Honda Civic runs hot when idling.

Check the cooling fan switch. It appears your auxiliary electric cooling fan isn't going on when at idle. and engine temp increases. While you are driving, air is being rammed thru your radiator as you cruise along, so it isn't overheating, at idle, that isn't happening, and the fan should go on as the temp goes up. When the ac is switched on, the fan is being signaled to operate due to the heavy ac load on the cooling system.

SOURCE: gas gauge reads empty but tank acts like it's full

I also have a 04 with a 1.8L. same problem. I took the fuel regulator off. It is a black box behind the rear tire under car. It only has 2 bolts to take off. After that there is a couple of vent hoses from the tank going to this box. Unplug them and 1 electrical connection. The electrical connection and one vent is connected to a T connection on the box that you can unplug by twisting on the T. Take that T off and look inside where you unplugged the hose on this T. There is a spring and a little plunger inside this tube. The plunger gets stuck. I took a little screw driver and some PB blaster and worked that plunger back and forth a couple dozen times and it unfroze. Put it back together gassed up just fine. I did not look but I was told regulator can be replaced for 200$. But a can of blaster is cheaper.

SOURCE: Stalls at low speed when in cruise control

You sould have recieved a "recall" notice in the mail about the cruise control for fire and failure issues. they are adding a fusable link where the cruise control harness connects to the brake master cylinder. if you have not had the recall performed yet you should SERIOUSLY consider getting it done, mainly so it doesnt catch fire, but "could" be the result of the failure you've been experiancing! btw, almost ALL Ford vehicles have been affected with the cruise control recall. hope this helps!

My oil and gas gauge on my truck jump .... gas gauge works fine till i get to about half a tank then it starts jumping.. oil gauge jumps from the time i start my car and regulates but when i slow down or...

You probably have a bad sending unit for the fuel level in the tank. this would cause the gauge to be erratic when the level is below 1/2 tank and the float is moving around much more than when full. The oil pressure gauge problem could be caused buy a loose wire connection or a faulty sending unit.

Fuel gauge does not show accurately, if varies each time the vehicle is started and goes from fule to half tank and then almost full unconsistently.

Has the car been in an accident? The fuel pump/sender in the tank often breaks loose in an accident and is then inaccruate and can wash back and forth with the fuel, taking off and slowing down. Other things are bad grounds, check bolts and/or clean grounds, alll over.
