I have a 02' Honda odyssey that the TCS light comes on after about 1 mile. It seems to lose power a little then the light comes on and stays on until I shut the engine off. It runs and shifts fine, just a small hesitation in power then the tcs light will come on.
There are several things that will turn the check engine light and TCS light on .If you get the code I can tell you exactly what the problem is . On your year i see transmission problems as well as EGR problems. If you go to any large auto parts store they will check the code for free or a very small fee.

The tcs and hesitation seem to indicate a misfire. the check engine light should come on when the ignition is in the on position before starting, should blink 3 times for a misfire and then number of times for cylinder. Not knowing maintenance and mileage I can only guess but either a coil pack or plugs. Non-platinum plugs could cause issues at any time and different cylinder readings. A consistent cyl. would make a coil more suspect. A diagnostic at a dealer would tell you for about $80. Or if you put in cheap plugs (non-platinum) you might start there (my experience last time - first time was a coil pack). The TCS always came on on my van (a 2001) with the misfire but may not. The misfire is the hesitation.
