2003 kia spectra check engine code p0604

Marcelino, Kia shift solenoid approx $70 to $150 a piece. May find for less if you shop the Net. and cheaper I believe if buy in sets.

are you sure about the last code???

that means that it is not utilizing the overdrive gear in the transmission. there should b a button on the shifter or on the dash to turn the overdrive back on. Consult your owners manual for the exact location.

I had the same issue and bought some sea foam transmission fluid product and it seems to have worked. Just be careful not to overfill it.

You have to take it to a garage and have a code scanner connected to it to find out what is causing the light to come on.
There is a lot of sensors, and any one of them could cause the light to come on.Be prepared to pay $60 to $100. If there is an autozone parts store near you, call and see if they do it.Some of them do it free.It only takes about 30 seconds to retrieve the code or codes.good luck.

It might have a partially blocked fuel line or ait intake supply.

• Try to check your fuel filter.
• The seive on the fuel pump.
• The fuel injectors might be dirty.
• The air cleaner might be clogged

or the fuel sensor might be malfunctioning.
Try to check the compression, it might be loosing compression when you demand the engine to move the vehicle.
