SOURCE: 2007 Jeep Wrangler airbag light and chime

there is no other option...as long as the light is on there is a chance the airbag will either not work in an accident or it may deploy without warning. how many miles do you have on the vehicle??? there is a chance if you contact chrysler customer relations they may assist in the repairs.

Need to remove steering column on a 1992 lincoln town car

Remove the steering wheel, turn signal reset (plastic), remove clip and spring. Remove trim to expose the entire colum. Disconnect all connectors. There are four main bolts holding the colum up. Remove the bolts and lower the colum. At the end of the steering shaft there is a bolt going through the colum. Remove the bolt. The colum can then be removed.

2001 chrysler seabring horn, cruise control not working and air bag light is on

sounds like the clock spring in the sterring colum because of the air bag it is a safety issue so it was probably recalled. I know there was some other chryslers recalled for this. Have your vin number ready and call your local chrysler dealership and they will be able to tell you if it was recalled and if it was they will fix it free of charge. Hope this helps

My 2001 dodge stratus airbag doesnt work, airbag light is on, and cruise control doesnt work. i was told it was some sort of spring in the steering column and it is expensive to replace.

They are correct. There is a groved ring and spring between your steering wheel and colum. It allows electrical connection to your cruise buttons and air bag. Those springs wear out and no connection can be made. Its called a clock spring. Make sure if you try to replace it your self to take care around the air bag as you could inaverdlty set it off.
