Our MF 5613 is stuck on full revs, it happened as I was travelling with foot on the pedal near to 2000 rpm.

Kindly check the throttle. Maybe it could be stuck. You may spray WD40 and apply some lubricant on edge of throttle lever

Our 2002 Dodge Durango 4.7 when started goes to full throttle 6000 rpm and has to be immediately shut off.

John, first make sure it is not floor mat or carpet holding gas peddle down causing throttle issue. If all looks good there, would suggest you check throttle cable for being seized, throttle body seized or return spring faulty/broke. You may want to contact a good Tech, have them diagnose and estimate repair. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Only runs full throttle

Disconnect the MAF sensor and see if it changes rpm's. Pull off the big boot at the intake. Is the throttle valve wide open? If it is, the throttle body assembly needs cleaning-maybe it is stuck?

How to do electronic throttle adaptation

You want the car to re-learn throttle after taking out battery?

FIRST ! check to make sure acc. pedal has full travel- like the floor mat or garbage doesn't obstruct it's travel.

Turn key to on, but don't start it.

Mash the pedal to the floor and hold it there for 10 seconds.

Release pedal and turn off key.

-you have just reset the "fuzzy logic"-

My gas pedel gets stuck half way down some times

The throttle position sensor is most likely bad or it just may be the throttle cable but I think it is the Throttle position sensor it is located near the throttle valve follow the throttle cable to the end this is where the throttle valve is and the Throttle position sensor is located near the throttle valve on the opposite side it will have a plug going to it and it is held on with two torx head screws purchase the tools and replace.
