Speedsensor output side. where to find it and how to replace it

The tailstock area of the transmission case....close to the CV axels....The Sensor is monitoring Ring gear speed on Final Drive............

On the gear box on left hand side if I remember correctly if not try the right hand side

the A/t Have more than one. sensor.
in all cases there are at least 2, (input and output speed)
why ask, just curious? no problems stated.
did you scan the PCM , that be first. it tells you anytime a speed sensor even hickups, much less dead.

Sounds more like you have a faulty voltage regulator on your alternator!
If you know anyone with an oscilloscope then put that onto the alternator output and see how smooth it is or isn't!

on the passenger side of the motor you have to take the wheel off remove the inner cover and look on the back and you should see it it has a little bolt in it should be a 10mm

that is right a speed sensor can't kill the motor but i would look more to low oil in the pan or a bad oil pump.

Mounted on the trany is a speedometer sensor. The vehical will not up-shift it, sensor, is malfunctioning. The vehicles computer doesn't know that it is not going fast enough to change gears.
