My car just died and it acts like it wants to start but it doesnt we already replaced the cam but that wasnt it and the tach doesnt move when i try to turn it over
SOURCE: car stalls, tach needle pegs, engine turns over but will not start
you need a crank sensor installed
SOURCE: Engine dies after 20 minutes or so and then will not start again for 10 to 15 min.
Sounds like it could be an ignition module (controls the coil), often when they begin to fail they are fine when cold but die when they get hot. If you do replace it make sure you disconnect the battery first, and that the mounting surface is cleaned first, and that you then put the supplied heatsink paste thinly across the mounting surface before installation.
SOURCE: HELP
near the throttle body part there is a electronic idle control valve either this control valve is defect or there is a leak between the body and the valve.

SOURCE: car died while driving. my husband is a truck
It needs both inputs from the camshaft and the crankshaft to know where the timing is to start. It should be tested before you go and throw parts at it.
