Ground wire positions

I bought a 2000 Tiburon from a friend recently. it had a sound system in it, but was recently taken out before the sale. since then all lights (cluster lights, tail lights, break lights, head lights, high beams, dome light, clock, radio) all flicker. it only noticeably happen when the car is idling. the car starts up fine, doesn't die off, leading me to believe that when he took the sound system out he knocked a grounding wire off a bit. he also bought a new battery and the alternator was replaced less then 50k miles ago. where do I start to check??? ... or could this be worse problem in the making...?

SOURCE: 98 Maxima - Battery and Brake Lights flickering

First off - 125K mi is nothing on that car (as long as you maintain it). The alternator is actually also the voltage regulator and this aspect of the alternator frequently fails before the actual alternator itself does and causes irregular voltage - so it makes sense you drove without the battery connected but you probably were having irregular power instead of a nice steady 14V (the other thing to know is that even if they do show 14V all the time the amperage may differ, both problems = change the alternator).

code p 0113 refers to intake air temperature (IAT) sensor---circuit ,malfunction=====causes --wiring open circuit---wiring short to positive---wiring short to ground--ground wire defective---IAT sensor--ECM
check the harness connections , corroded pins, water in connections

I recently replaced the clutch in my 2003 Hyundai Tiburon after doing so my car will not go into first or second gear but is able to go into all other gears. Could you please help me with this problem

Sounds like the new clutch was not lined up properly before refitting! If it was done at a garage return it to have the clutch taken out and refitted properly by them! Or did you do it yourself?

Car won't engage starter

At the starter relay, you have two red or purple wires, one goes to the starter and the other comes from a 30amp fuseable link. Is that fuseable link circuit hot ?
From the key switch, power goes thru the alarm relay, then the clutch safety switch or automatic selector switch, then to the starter relay. The fourth wire on the starter relay is a ground.
You should be able to put power to the starter relay on the white or yellow wire coming from the safety switch to make the relay engage.
My guess is something wrong with the alarm system.

2000 tiburon the crank shaft positioning sensor keeps blowing why

Does the fuse blow? If yes it is likely that the sensor it's shorted. You will need to remove the timing cover to verify it. Looked for frayed, broken wires.

Cooling fan doesn't come on when A/C compressor is engaged. Relay is okay. No ground for relay coil.

OK, if there is no ground for the relay coil then the harness needs to be taken apart and the break in the wire repaired.

Or, if the system is normally grounded except through the a/c climate control circuit, then you might try grounding the relay directly or permanently (this is only if the schematic says that the relay is normally grounded, and the positive is controlled by the hvac system.)

Hope this helps.

Hello, Just bought a 2000 Buick Regal, horn

Take the horn button assembly apart--there should be only one wire there (goes to the horn relay) and not be grounded. It goes to the insulated metal part that grounds the plate when button pushed. Unfix the grounded wire and see if horn is quiet. You may need to replace that wire if it still sounds.

2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT randomly drops RPMs

drops anywhere from 500 to 2000 RPMs. ??? don't understand what you're trying to describe. First suspicion - throttle position sensor. Go to http://www.hmaservice.com/ and register (vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you'll have access to technical information (manuals, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, etc) about your vehicle.
If you don't want to do this, then I recommend you take/tow the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), pay the diagnostic fee. They will tell you EXACTLY what the problem is and what's needed to fix it (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.).
