HELP 2003 Acura RSX base model SEAT WIRING? Cloth seats were stolen and floor wiring harness cut under the seats. Replaced with 03 Type S leather seats.
A) I have all the connections under the passenger seat except 2 identical blue/gray wires to the seat airbag connector. Does it matter which blue wire connects to which pin in the connector? Is it OK to reverse them? I don't want to blow the airbag.
B) Drivers side wires from harness are 4-brown/gray wires, 1-green, 1-blue, 1-black. I assume black is ground. How do the wires connect to the 3 connectors? Are the 4 brown/gray wires interchangeable?
The mechanics connected all the electrical leads
but the seat is completely unresponsive, and the airbag warning
indicators flash from time to time. The seat is currently in the full
upright position, and as far forward as possible, making it impossible
for anyone over 4 feet tall to squeeze in.

Go to this web page and and call them and for$17.00 they will answer your question, they build the air bag deploymnet systems, I use them all the time. The two wires you speak of sounds like the seat belt and or lap harness wires but give these guys a try they know for sure. The air bag system is normally yellow. http://www.airbagsolutions.com/contact.aspx
