My speedometer, gas gauge, temp and battery gauge are not working on my 2001 Ford Ranger XLT. However, the gas gauge and oil temp gauge are still working. What could be causing this?

check the connectors on the fascia and the fuse for the fascia/instruments in the cabin fuse box but it sounds like the prob is in the instument pack may be faulty
Sometimes this works, ABS light on, check engine light on, speedometer not working, and the automatics start shifting hard or not shifting at all? One bolt and the part is cheap, its weird how one part controls so much.
Why do you need to know where the temp sensor is. It sounds like it is working properly. Check for thermostat not opening completely, or a clogged radiator.
