Sounds like a tune up is needed. new spark plugs (make sure they are gapped to specifications), new spark plug wiring, new coil, pcv filter and new air filter usually are required for a complete tune up.

I assume you have a coil pack like the US version.
Make sure the wiring connector is ok and the leads going into it are not loose or corrded inside the insulation. The seconday plug wires should have di-electric grease on them to prevent high voltage issues. Finally, the coils can actually take out the drivers in your engine computer.
