dealership was no help. told me it would be $300 just to find the problem, without even fixing it. im about to buy a car repair manual but im not sure if it will help me because i dont know what im looking for. im not very knowledgeable about cars/parts. sigh... i turned the AC switch on and -nothing. just an air pressure sigh when the defrost button is pushed. dont know what it could be as of yet.

Blower motor

I'm showing a blower relay and a resistor used on models with manual ac control.
The blower motor is grounded and the fan switch provides power thru the resistor. So you have a 40amp blower fuse that handles high thru the relay, then a 30amp HVAC fuse that powers the blower thru the fan switch.
Do you not have power from the resistor to the blower motor on the purple wire ?

Ac/heater fan doesn't work

According to my wiring diagram, the blue and white wire from the blower motor gets power from the key switch. The fan switch and resistor grounds the motor.
No blower fuse is listed.

1995 GMC Sierra fan blower not working.

In the beginning you should check for voltage and ground.
The 50amp fuse marked AC powers the blower motor and the motor is grounded.
The high speed relay bypasses the resistor. So you should have power coming from the fuse and thru the high relay. Then the resistor for the other speeds gets power from the heat and ac control module which also controls the blend doors.
You may need a shop manual or repair book to get the diagrams.

I have 2002 infinity I35 and the blower motor stop working ,I took out the blower motor to make sure was good. YES the blower motor still working .the only think I really don't know how to check is Blower...

WELL YOU HAVE TO USE A VOLT METER CONNECT ONE VOLT METER WIRES TO GOOD GROUND AND THE OTHER VOLT METER WIRES GOES TO EACH SWITCH SPEED.IF VOLT METER GET VOLTAGE A 1 OR 2 CONTROL SPEED RESISTOR BAD.IF RESISTOR BAD YOU WILL GET 1 OR 2 BLOWER MOTOR SPEEDS.IF BLOWER MOTOR WORKING.CHECK THE AC AND HEATER CONTROL SWITCH FUSE OR CHECK BLOWER MOTOR FUSE AND RELAY.IF ALL GOOD SO FAR CONTROL SWITCH ITSELF COULD BE FAULTY.

Blower suddenly quit working

The recharge of your a/c system and this is unrelated, could be a bad blower motor or blower motor resistor, have you checked your blower motor fuse? If fuse good, check voltage at blower motor, sit under dash on passenger side, just below dash, you will be able to see it, will have two wire's going to it, only one will have voltage with switch on, if you have voltage replace it, not that hard of a job to do, shop repair time to remove and replace blower motor is .7 tenths of an hour, hope this was very helpful.

Air conditioning and blower stopped working, all fuses checked good.Is there a common feed to these two circuits?

The answer is that there is dirt dust and fuzz built up in the brushes of the blower motor. Had to figure this one out myself. Remove glove box, carefully disassemble bottom of blower motor, remove brush cap and brushes clean up mess and reassemble. Not for a novice but if you're a thinker you can figure it out. Mine has worked every time since. The Pontiac guys had no clue wanted to replace motor.

95 Elantra. ac blower not working, but when switched to full there is current drain

Yes, there's a relay in the passenger compartment relay box. Power flows from 2 fuses; blower fuse 30A in the engine compartment relay box and fuse 12 10A in the dash fuse box. The 20A fuse goes to one side of the blower relay contacts. The other fuse goes to one side of the relay control coil. When you turn the blower switch on, it ground the control coil which moves the contacts and sends power to the motor. The motor speeds are controlled on the ground side of the circuit by the blower motor resistor. Which resistor provides ground depends on the speed switch setting you choose. But the whole system depends on ground G01. If that ground is bad or corroded, the blower won't work
