Fuel will not do this. You need to determine which circuit's fuse is blowing and find the fault in that system which may lead to your starting problem. Otherwise, sort out the fuse problem and then start a new course of troubleshooting.
if you have patience and a little mechanical ability you should be able to do it your self.

the two small wires that attaching to the lock is very easy to break. if you did not carefully install it then it will break .as you turn the key the wires will move back and forth. you need to check that again
Are you asking how to do this HERE? You'd be better to get at least a Haynes manual for your Lumina. They explain how to do it, torque values, etc.
You need the manual, a big hammer, and a pickle fork (ball joint removing tool.) If you can find an ol' fart that knows about cars to explain, that'll help, too.
Expect busted knuckles, you'll get 'em. Be sure to have the car aligned after you replace the ball joints & consider doing the tie rod ends at the same time.
Do one at a time comparing the length of the new wire to the length of the old wire. It will keep them from getting mixed up. If this was helpful, please leave feedback. Thanks, SP
