Engine no start

I think the anti theft is keeping the car from starting. Not getting fire to ignition coils, to crank sensor or to fuel system. no lights or any thing on dash display while engine is rotating and anti theft light blinks rapidly. how to test anti theft for no start?

Looks like the only way is to let the dealer re-program the theft deterrent processor

Do you have another key for the car? Try that. If not you'll have to have the keys programmed to the car at the dealer.

Yes I agree it's the 'smart key'. Normally when you buy an explorer new, you will get 3 keys. 1 of the keys is a valet key.
If you were to copy another key that has a smart chip (transponder) in it, the new key won't work until you 'program' the third (new) key. To program it you need the original 2 keys that work.
The only other thing could be that there was a remote start in the vehicle and there could be something wrong with the module that bypasses the transponder. If there is a remote start in the vehicle you might be lucky to some extent if it still works.
If you move the shifter hard and it worked before, like you said, there could also be damage to the wires that goto the key cylinder, the reciever for the transponder in the key. Try having someone hold the key in start and use the tilt wheel, that too will tell you theres damaged wires if it starts.
Unfortunately you probably will have to bring the vehicle to a ford dealer to get additional keys programmed or the damaged part replaced.
It shouldn't cost too, too much. Just be glad you don't have a Saab, replacement key's are $145 Ea!
If your inclined, you can dissassemble the plastic shroud around the steering column and look for damaged wires coming from the black ring around the key down the the connector under the dash.

The chip is in the key. Either the key has lost it's program or the transceiver is not recognising the key. Try another key if you have one.

Either you may be using a key that you had copied from the original or your chip went bad in your original key. Most of cars now a days have the key censor in the key so if it is the incorrect key it will not start your car or if it does not read that chip it will not start

1999 ford expedition 4.6L cranks but will not start

you might try starting fluid in air horn to see if it tries to run, then at least you would know it is not an ignition problem and only on the fuel side. Maybe wiring connector to crank sensor is bad. Really not sure how you would check if Anti-theft is preventing starting, but keys are only 1/2 of system and PCM is the other.

2005 c230 Kompressor = Crank no Start

You have to go back to the basics to find out what systems aren't working. Fuel/Fire/Air. Is it getting fuel, is it getting spark, how is the compression? Once you figure these things out then you will be heading on the right track.

Car wont start but has fuel all the way to

Just because there is fuel does not mean it is at the right pressure. Test the pressure or use a can of Quick Start Fluid, using extreme caution. If it does not start with Quick Start, suspect the ignition switch or Crank Angle Sensor. Crank engine to see if tach moves. If not, replace.

2004 Mazda B2300 no spark after engine overhaul.

An anti theft light light is trying to tell you something. That thing is that the system will not allow the engine to start. Most systems shut off fuel and or ignition. Check and see if you have ground switching on and off for the injectors. If the anti theft system is shutting off the ignition then it will also shut off injectors/fuel system. Figure out the antitheft FIRST or you are probably going to chase you tail.

2001 blazer wont start ran fine before turning off has fuel pressure has fire check timming ok relaced coil ,ing moduel crank sensor dist cap could it be the anti theft ?

You say it has fuel pressure, if it has sequential fuel injection it needs about 70psi to start the engine.
If it cranks and has spark to the plugs, the anti-theft system is not involved.
You did not mention the rotor, I assume you have spark to the plugs not just out of the coil.
If you have not yet checked cranking fuel pressure, I would start there. The pump could be weak or the filter stopped up.

97 f150 4.6 wont start after it stalled due to the ac pump seizing up and causeing the engine to stall

Possible anti theft but I think that you have a blown fuse go to ford owners manual.com and register for free then download the manual then go to roadside emergencies and your fuse box diagrams and values for ignition and fuel pump as well as others //// when you put the key in does the pats system light start to rapidly flash or does it go out while cranking if rapidly the anti theft is activated or somehow your key was erased check PCM fuse ignition fuel pump coils injectors

Engine wont start seems to be a fuel injector problem ,not fuel pump, has fire to coil and plugs.5.2 v-8

It is the VATS system (vehicle anti theft system). The codes need to be cleared out and lock and unlock the drivers door from the outside with the key. This is most likley the problem if the injectors are not geting pulse or check the crank sensor with a scan tool in datastream, it will show RPMs if it is getting crank signal.
