Check gage light is on

check for a vacuum leak in the small rubber hoses.

if it goes right off its fine but if it stays on watch the gauges see if there is a light on you norm dont see

You have a check light on, most of the time.
Check lights have been on vehicles for 31 model years now. Surely you know why! You have a system malfunction, get the code read, as soon as the light comes on,and have the vehicle repaired.

What has, getting tired off a vehicle and a newer one, that will develop similar issues, have to do with this. Educate yourself.

PCM may be bad

sounds like you have a possiable alternator issue or a loose or corroded battery cable, have that checked.

I just got through checking out the same van. It is most likely the instrument cluster or the bcm. Or even both.
