I would recommend doing a oil change. Making sure to replace oil filter and oil. Have the car reset to clear any previous codes or fault lights. If it still comes on you may need to replace what ever sensor makes that light come.on. I would assume you have a light that tells you when your low on oil or is this a check engine light. I would also recommend having the car diagnosed when that light is on to see what codes it is showing and go from there.
an a service is your basic oil change, lub door locks, check air pressure in tires the 1 means a tire rotation and the 3 means that you are due for a transmission fluid change
id say that when the car hits around 55,000 miles giving it around 10,000 to use the oil to the fullest also change the filters, sparkplugs and wires, and add some kind of gas tank cleaner to keep the car running strong :)
this may mean its time for an oil change it's the cars way of saying it's time for a scheduled maintenance.
Turn the key off and push and hold the select button. Keep holding while you turn the key to the on position (not the start position) keep holding for about 15 seconds then turn the key back off . next turn the key back to on position the light should only come on once. now you can start the car
There are two mechanical noises you will hear from an engine, lifter noise, wrist pin slap, and rod bearing noise. The only one that will go away, if at all, with engine warm-up, is lifter noise. All assuming of course, the noise is coming from the engine, and not any of the externally mounted accessories. Have the oil changed, and continue to change every 2000-3000 miles with a good quality oil, maybe the lifter will clear itself. If it does, maintain the oil changes for the next few changes to assure it is cleaning out. You might also try adding 1-2 pints Berrymen's Chemtool to the oil 200-300 miles before you plan to change the oil.
Press odometer reset/adjustment shaft in, hold in and turn key to run position. Keep holding in the reset shaft in for about 30 seconds. release shaft. turn key off. restart car. Service Light should go off in about 5 seconds.
