Car AC stopped blowing cold, compressor turns on, Freon at 45

Nissan Frontier 2000
I went on vacation for a week and when I got back the AC had stopped blowing cold air. I hear the compressor make it's usual sound. I check the freon pressure at 45 and there is an airy/windy kind of squeaky sound that sounds closer to the vents than the engine.

Check the thermo control amp, it is a sensor that keeps the evaporator from freezing. I had that problem on my 2000, it's a common nissan problem, google nissan ac problems.

You are going to have to put tracer dye in the system and check for leaks
if no leaks then might be low on freon and or there is a resistance in one of the lines

03 grand am ac wont blow cold air

Two things are very likely to be your problem. Freon or compressor. Turn on the ac on cold and see if the compressor is engaging, if it is and stops and goes or if it doesn't. try to check the compression on the low side of your ac, the smallest plug where you service the ac. Or take it to an ac professional to get it refilled or checked. Remember, just because its blowing air, it doesn't mean its working. There are fans inside the car that push the cold air inside your vehicle and most of the time these will work, but that's not the only part required to blow cold air inside your car, the compressor is what makes the air cold.

Compressor clicks on and off but is full of freon 2000 nissan frontier

Could be a faulty ac clutch or a faulty low pressure switch.
You would need to check voltage in the clutch circuit to see if it is constant.

2003 Nissan Frontier 4 cyl, AC has stopped blowing cold air, how do I fix this?

Depends on the problem.
Is the compressor working when the engine is running ?
Is one ac line hot and the other cold ?
Have you checked to see if it is low on freon ?

2000 NISSAN 4X4 P/U A/C SYSTEM WILL BLOW COLD WHEN OUTSIDE AIR TEMP IS COOL, WHEN HOT OUTSIDE AIR BLOWS HOT.

your auxillary fan is not working. this fan is responsible for cooling the freon that is being circulated in your cooling system... check if there are any loose wires in front of the engine bay.

the auxillary fan is located right beside your radiator fan.

The AC on my 93 Buick Park Ave used to blow ice-cold. About a week ago it went out, and so my husband charged it. Yesterday it was out again. We got a freon/stopleak/leakfinder to put in, and the AC...

sorry it has a leak ,only way to fine it is to use the correct machine and vacumn it out ,then turn machine off and listen for a sucking sound ,most likely cause is the flexible hoses/compression fittings or the seal on the front of the AC compressor ,if you still cannot find the leak then fill AC with a special dye and use a ultra violet light and yellow glasses to find the leak .

My ac compresser on a 2000 se crewcab frontier

Yes. You can cut it, the only thing it runs is the A/C Compressor.

AC blows cold or hot

if it is the same thing that is wrong with my frontier. check to see if the compressor is turning on when you use the ac. if not you might have a bad connection that is intermittantly preventing the compressor from getting the signal to turn on. get a service manual and a voltmeter and you can fix.

2001 Frontier no AC, fan only blows on position 4 (high)

You need to replace your cab filters. So do I but do not know how to remove them. They are bewing the glove compartment. I've taken out 3 screws and 4 8mm bolts. Can pry top and bottom apart a little and see them but havn't been abel to remove them yet.
