Depending on if you have a high pressure Turbo or not. The engine in my S70 T5 is a high pressure turbo 2.3 litre. Look on your driver side fender(under the hood) for the VIN Tag and it will tell you what engine is in your car.

SOURCE: 98 volvo S70 has it srs warning light on dashboard come on

Hi:

The SRS light is the air bag system, or supplemental restraint system. It is possible that it could just be on If you have had maintenance done on your car recently, but your airbag system is inoperative till you get the system reset.

Is there somewhere online where I can put my car vin # in and it will tell me the exact part I need to order

no
the vin number is the identity code of the vehicle and doesn't refer to spare parts
remember that in a car there are over 1500 individual parts to make it
just go to a service dealer spares department and they will identify what you want

Engine number vin

The vin number is an international system used to identify vehicles. It is like a bar code but in numbers instead of black bars . If you contact the car's maker at the customer relations department and recite the vin number to them they will be able to tell you what components were used in the build of the car from a bill of material used to order all the parts for the car

I have a 2005 Kia Sedona in south Africa that needs front shocks. If I buy aftermarket shocks in the USA will they fit. Thanks

  • Some helpful tips to for ordering aftermarket car parts are -
  1. Make sure to match the actual part number or the
  2. VIN number (Vehicle Identification Number) which is located at the bottom of the wind shiled on the drivers side as you are looking into the vehicle. The VIN number is the tell all of after market parts.
  3. Remember different parts stores in America sell different after market parts.
  4. I'm sure several parts stores in America will sell your part. Front shock are not so exclusive on this vehicle.

Need firing order and, I need to know what side the number one piston is on?

To avoid confusion, remove and tag the spark plug wires one at a time, for replacement.

The 3.5L (VIN H) engine's unique ignition system has the ignition coils directly over each plug. No spark plug wires are used.
If a coil is replaced on any of the 3.1L, 3.4L or 3.8L engines, it may not be numbered, as is the factory coil. For this reason it is imperative that you label all wires before disconnecting any of them. Also, before removal, compare the current wiring with the accompanying illustrations. If the current wiring does not match, make notes in your guide to reflect how your engine is wired.

The firing order for the 3.8L VIN K and 3.8L VIN 1 engines is 1-6-5-4-3-2. Starting at the front of the engine, cylinders in the left bank are numbered 1,3,5 and cylinders in the right bank are numbered 2,4,6
