Question about 1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT
Oil light comes on when i put clutch in and gauge drops to low pressure .but when i give it gas it goes off and gauge goes back up to normal why is this happening?
Check the oil level in the sump. Ensure that the idle RPM is at 750rpm or above up to 1000rpm. Check for the correct grade of oil in the engine for you atmospheric temperature.

Please ignore this light. Or you can take your car for a scan so it could be fitted well to give accurate indications.

Sounds like a problem with a weak sensor and the computer. You need to get your mechanic to code the car as to rule out any problems with the computer or the sensors. Your car is about the right year for those sensors to start getting weak. When the computer reads those sensors that then sets things. So if the sensor is getting weak, it would not be reading things right so your car would be not running so good. I would be looking at the Throttle Position Sensor. If after coding the car and nothing show up there. I would be checking for a vacuum leak they will often cause this problem. And one more thing when is the last time you did a good tune up on the car? Stark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor? Air filter might be something to look into too. I hope this helps and good luck!

How's the anti-freeze doing? Usually when you see white smoke coming out the tailpipe it's because you are getting anti-freeze in the exhaust somehow. Try to sniff it a little does smell like anti-freeze, or oil? I don't know why the oil pressure would be low unless you are getting anti-freeze in the oil. Does the oil look milky, knda like chocolate milk? The low oil pressure could also be a faulty gauge, you may want to have a mechanic put a mechanical gauge on the car for test purposes.
