My car problem started 3 days ago, it started with my Toyota security light blinking red, then a key like symbol on ...
Oil light means no, or very low oil pressure. Happened to me once in a 84 camry. Car was old and not worth rebuilding. But I found out then that high-mileage camrys had a problem with oil pump gasket failure.
no spark crank sensor. good you getting fuel but with no signal from the crank sensor it will not fire up. can also be oil pressure switch so if the oil light wont go out while cranking the engine it can be this as well
on your model (after 1996) the check engine light can come on for over 200 reasons, so the only sane thing to do is have the system tested for the trouble that is stored in the memory of the cars computer to see what is causing the problem.
hello i have a 1992 camry 4 cyl. i did a tune up on it(spark plugs & wires, air filter, fuel filter, dist. cap rotor) engine light is on now. It shuts off after 5 minutes of driving or idle. could it be a sensor? if so what type? thanks JC-
