Do i have a gps receiver on board in my BMW 525i?

Have recently bmw 525i 2004,It seems.. that there is a Navigation system (insert DVDnavigation message on screen on startup),
My CD/DVD reader was upgraded to have MP3 and DVD support and I have nophisical DVD navigation to test, and if i succed to have one, it will be no Maps to Lebanon.
But How do i be sure to have a Navigation system onboard/or a GPS receiver?
When i searched in MENU, i did not find in anysettings concerning GPS. Thanks - Pierre-

Dear Sir,
You answered me that if there is not 2 CD slots, i will not have a GPS receiver for navigation, but also u aked one more question if my BMW car was US one, and i answered by Yes.
Waiting for another answer again.
Now I plan to borrought from any BMW owner i will find on the road, and who will have any DVD navigation disc, to insert it in my BMW and look for settings and fetch to know if i have a GPS receiver and what model .... if any..
The prime dealer in Lebanon will not help me fetching this, that's why i went for you..or for any friends i will find on the roads....

I believe you gain access to it by removing the rear seat then a cover plate in the flooring. Hope this helps.

Hi i have BMW 525i 2004 from time to time when

It is very important that the engine not overheat! The head can crack and this would be very bad.
I think your car is too new to need a new radiator.
Make sure the coolant level is correct.
Check the thermostat housing for leaks.
When the engine is hot, check if the fan clutch is locked up and actually driving the fan. Turn the engine off and grab the fan and try to turn it. It should turn stiffly. If it spins freely the fan clutch is dead.
It is possible that the water pump impeller has failed, especially if it is a plastic one.

Any type of fluid leak is not normal. Especially engine oil.

I have an early e46 with the cassette player in the front and the cd changer in the boot. Can I swap the head unit for one with a cd player in it, and do I need anything else ? Thanks

You can replace the old radio and cassette player with a new modern aftermarket dvd player gps navigation unit like this.

this is a optional extra on yor car and you can inquire at your dealer to upgradfe but this will be very expensive

BMW remote control problem

I have a e60 525i that I just brought and it has the same problem, the owners manual suggests driving with the key in the ignition for a long time as the batteries are rechargable and may have gone flat, i have tried this and it doesnt seem to work

i also read something about getting water in the aerial about the rear window and that wrecks the receiever. My car isn;t under warranty so not looking forwarding to taking it to bmw
