Will not start or turn over. Red light flashing on dash and interior lights flashing Stopped to get gas and when i got back in the truck it wouldnt turn over or even click. A red light on the dash flashing which the manual says is security. When i try to turn the key the digital odometer flashes on and off. It will jump start but will not stay running. Battery still shows green. Truck has 99500 miles and the only problem i have had is a sticky EGR valve.

It's the battery same thing happened with my truck. I changed the battery and the problem was corrected.

If your security light is flashing, you have a problem with the key or the wireless control. It is sensing that the vehicle is stolen that is why the light is flashing, and will not stay running. You will need to take it to the dealer to confirm which problem it is.

My truck just did the exact thing 2hrs ago. So I take it it was the truck battery and not the key fob. My truck is an 05 w/ 62000. So I'm hoping that tomorrow I can go get a new battery and be back on the road.
