Hyundai Accent losing power when hot

Hi guys. I'm driving a '96 Hyundai Accent with 1.5l engine.. When I start it in the morning, it's powerful like a new engine but loses his power like 30 seconds after I started it and I have to push the fuel almost to the floor everytime I make a stop..

Also the transmition (automatic 3 gears + overdrive).. When I reverse to get out of the parking in the morning, everything is ok. When I put it in drive, in falls in neutral like 2 seconds after I put it in drive and I have to manually shift it to Low (1) and manually shift it for like 5 minutes until it's good.. Thanks in advance :)

Hi jman thanks for the QUICK reply :)

The catalytic is empty lol they remove what is inside before we bought it because it was causing problems..

About the transmission, when it falls in neutral and I put it manually in Low (1), in goes in the first gear then when I manually switch it to the 2nd gear it jump in the second gear like BAM (sorry I'm french :() it doesn't even change of gears smootlhy.. After like 5 minutes everything is OK.. (with the engine that lost power)

    @ azpcl12

When the engine is losing power it's only like 30 seconds after I started it.. It's still cold at that time.. Or should I say, not cold but but hot :P

Sometimes loss of power can be caused by a clogged catalytic converter which can make the car at times hesitate, and about the trasmission maybe the governor on it might be faulty what that does it changes the gears when it reaches certain speed

The engine losing power, check your coolant level, if it is extremely low the temp gauge will not show the engine is actually hot. The tranny sounds like you have a filter that is clogged, tranny fluid thins when it gets warm and will past thru a filter that is clogged, but in the morning the fluid is thicker and will not flow thru the filter without manually shifting it

How to check for lose fuel pressure hyundai accent 2002

A mechanic would use a fuel pressure gauge, you could spray starting fluid or carb cleaner into the throttle body to see if it will start on that.
Also check for spark at the plugs.

I have a 2001 hyundai accent, sometimes it loses power whilst driving and recently it just turned off whilst driving

Sounds like a wiring issue from the body to the fuel pump in the gas tank or the fuel pump itself but my guess is a wiring problem there or close to the ECM (computer) inspect the wiring and harness for lumps in the wire or broken wires or corroded connections.
try running a new ground wire from the battery to the Engine and the body of the car - a simple task . then run a ground wire directly to the gas tank but dont make any holes in the tank or weld upon it lol.

Hi, I've an accent crdi 2003. In mornings engine

I would check the catlic converter to see if its not blocked, best thing to do is to go to a exhaust shop and they can do vacume test or tempreature test.
