2004 bmw 325i water leaks by the bottle cap when the car is on the move but the tempreture is in the middli the problem is the bottle ends up ementy
First remove and check the bottle for cracks in the bottom and sides . Have a coolant system pressure test done and have a compression test done for head gasket and cracks. Have the radiator cap tested for correct operation

I did an engine swap because of a rod knock and when I removed the power steering pump the seal was upset and would not seal again. I found a guy on the internet who had a kit for under $75 shipping included (sorry can't remember sight name). This kit comes with a new improved two lip seal, couple o-rings, gasket, home made tools, and a video showing how to install the new seals. I installed the kit and it fixed the leak in about 3 hours. The dodge dealer wants $1100.00 for a rebuilt vacumme pump. Do a google for power steering leak.This is a very common problem even for a pump that has not been removed.

to access the windscreen bottle, you have to take off the front wheel, wheelarch and dicconnect filler tube. Using 10 mm socket take off one bolt holding the bottle. To reinstall take off side indicator to make it easy for you.
for E90 model it is normal to have leak when the bottle is full. the water is coming out from breather on top of bottle. but if the fluid is complately drain, then there's something wrong with it.
