2004 Toyota highlander, engine light oxygen sensor came on, tightened gas cap, went off. Back on again but now engine starts, idles roughly then shuts down.

Buy a new gas cap, the vent is plugged.

2003 HIGHLANDER ALTERNATOR PROBLEM, CAR DIES

Jump start and check voltage across battery terminals. Should read between 13.8v to 14.5v. You could check battery voltage first and if its below 12v then either the battery is dud or alternator not charging. could be just brushes or regulator . Either way alternator will need to be removed and repaired

My 2003 Toyota highlander blower turns on normally but after driving for more than 20 minutes, the blower seems to get weak. I have no freon issues, the blower just shuts down. If i turn the engine off a...

I would check the blower motor resistor pigtail for melted insulation.You may need replace the pigtail going to the resistor or replace the resistor itself,they get pretty hot and could loose its connection.

I have a 2003 Toyota Highlander. Recently it started stalling when the A/T oil temp light came on. I took it to a local trans shop.They drove the car and tested it,with No result

id guess the oil temp sensor is faulty
or the wire leading to it is corroded
start there

My husband just lost the chip key for our 2003 Toyota Highlander while shoveling snow. The valet key won't start the car. Is there an override switch to let the valet key start the car?

Intermittent rough idle on 2002 toyota highlander

before you do this I would get some wooden qtips - the long ones auto detailers use. take off the air filtrer assembly and spray carb cleaner into the air\fuel intake and use the qtip to wipe out the inside of the intake. I had the same problem with my highlander a year ago and this fixed the problem.
