I have the same problem with my toyota camry 1999, but it is most when it's really cold. I was wondering about this, because my mechanic said the catalytic converter was loose I think i would get ripped off with that suggestion

Here is the common cause of surges (idle speed goes up and down), stalls at stops, slow idle speed, erratic idle speed, rough idle and engine hesitation (and other problems), it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

If is very common on the Acura Legend to have air in the cooling system. This air in the system will cause the idle speed control valve to see changing temperatures. There are several procedures online for removing air from the cooling system.

I have to agree with Scorchingwar regarding the cooling system having air bubbles. This is a classic symptom of that.

High idle benz 190e

Could be a defect in the ECU. But 1000rpm is not that high my cars normal is 1000rpm. but some older models were about 700rpm
The AC rise is normal. You may want to have a OBD II check by your garage or you can buy a unit to do this. It will scan the sensors fitted for any problems.

Car stalls after warm on hot day after a few stops. will stall when stopping at intersections, and when taking foot off the gas going down hills.

The idling setting in the car is not set correctly or the idling is LOW due to fault in the setting.
You will need to check if the throttle position is correct and the idle setting WITH THE CLUTCH PRESSED must be of the CORRECT IDLING RPM. If not reset the position after cleaning the system.

2002 Wrangler 4.0 idles too high in park.

normal for an engine to start at elevated rpm and then die back as it takes a few seconds for the ECM doing it's sensor checks and idle back to the correct idle speed
check the idle rpm with an external rpm counter as most in dash units are inaccurate at rpm lower than 1000
as for the temperature
If you have a climate control module, it uses a mixture of heater and ac to maintain the temperature that you have set
so check it for operation
