If its 2.0 engine is an interference engine which means the pistons and the valves share the same space and is controlled by the timing belt. and it can do damage to the valves or pistons. to check the compression on the cylinder use a compression tester on the engine, timing belt can damage the compression when it bends the valves. but if you were going at some speed over 30 its more likely to have damaged the engine.

why did you replace fuel pump? how many miles on engine? there is no reset button that i know of.

Is the car flashing any codes. I would look for fuel issues possibly fuel filter, injectors etc. Because these items are easier to check. Otherwise it sounds as if the timing is off on the car. If the Hydraulic tensioner is not replaced this could cause the belt to jump teeth as well. PRETTY SURE YOUR TIMING IS STILL OFF

Hi,
It might have a partially blocked fuel line or ait intake supply.
or the fuel sensor might be malfunctioning.
Try to check the compression, it might be loosing compression when you demand the engine to move the vehicle.

right size belt ? cheap belt ? have battery tested

We tried to replace the timing belt ourselves, and even though we had done it fine on other cars, we blew the engine and had to replace it. It is NOT worth it!!!
