SOURCE: front drivers seat electric position button won't move seat back

Check the fuse. The fuse box is located on the passengers side at the side of the dashboard. Also check the fuses that are located under the hood. The location for fuses are in your car manual.

check to see if there is power to the buttons and to the motor. If not, check the fuse and look for any relays of any kind.

2009 kia sportage front passenger door stuck in locked position and won't budge. How do I get the door panel off to diagnose and fix?

The easiest way in is usually to hook the rod with a slim jim. If the door panel has to come off with the door closed, you will probably want to remove the passenger seat for access.

How do i adjust the paasenger seat in my 1999 VW beetle?

There is a D shaped handle on the side of the seat nearest the door. Lift up on it and the seat back will fold forward, and the entire seat mechanism will lift up and to the front, giving your passengers room to get into the back seat. Simply push the seat back toward the rear of the car to set it back in place; it will lock itself down once it's back in its original position.

Power seat wont move backward in 2009 Hummer H2

first check to see if anything is blocking the tracks if so remove. next it could be the switch if passenger side has controls try swapping them if passenger side does not have controls take switch off and check the resistance in the switch when in the on position (forward or back) if it is not the switch motor is probably burned out if passenger side again has motor try swapping. (passengers don't need to be comfortable) or just buy a new motor. hope this helps

Need to move front passenger seat much further back

the only way to do this is to take the seat out remove it from the rails take the rails to a machine shop and have them weld on extensions for the seat to slide on. you will also have to remove the rear seat stop so it will go further back and have them make catches in the extension for the seat to catch onto.

Removal and instalation of seats rear and front

First slide the seat to the back. You will find a bolt in the track on both sides. Remove them. Then move the seat forword and you will find 2 more bolts in the rear of the track. Be careful of the wires as you remove the seats! Frankster016
