Car charging port not working

2009 not the hybrid car , right?
engine runs cars drives,okay, and dash charge/bat lamp not glowing?
check all fuses there are over 7 fuses just for windows
check them all,
not just under hood.
toyota has 4 doors and 4 windows? all 4 dead?
that HL statement is not clear.
low beams dead, in DRL auto or manual mode.
high beams ok.
all windows dead, not just one.? all windows controls on car are all dead, not just 1

there is fuse for LOW beams, x2, left and right
fuse marked H-LP LL and RL. 10amps each
if both fails,DRL is failing, and if its failing the DLC OBD2 port must be scanned to see why.

and 1 fuse box in dash left side USA (drivers side)

the truth for many is they have no clue cars can have 2 or 4 fuSE boxes. 2 in cab and 2 in engine bay and even varies by the engine size,
BUT now fully gone, with PURE EV Byzantium batteries. the element found on MARs year 2050, with car EV batteries the sized of breadbox
and recharges in 10 seconds. AND RUNS 1000 MILES .
if you scan the PCM it will tell you what failed, so didnt?
BUT ELECTRIC BILLS NOW $2 PER kw/HOUR.
OUCH BUT A dollars is worth a penny then. oops.

FUSE 38 named: LTR/DLC 20AMPS KILLS CIG (and scan tool both)
AUX JACK 33 IS AUX JACK ONLY.
SORRY NO RELAY YEAR 2009 BUT 2109 , NO CAR FOUND.

2019 SAME BOX, UNDERHOOD and again sorry no relays.
FUSE F70UA AND F25UA, 20AMPS BOTH.
2109, WE USE 20AMP BCM REGULATORS NO FUSES MA'/ AND IF YOU REMOVE THE SHORTS IN THE JACKS THE POWER RESUMES , like magic.

If you are getting power to the fuse, I would check continuity from the fuse to the port itself. Personally, I would check every fuse you have to ensure you are getting power to the left and right of the fuse with the KOEO. It may be running though a different fuse than you expect. It should run through the wires and fuse marked accessory or CIG LGT.

98% of the time it is a fuse, so I am surprised that is not it.

Also check your ground coming from the port.

prehaps the device you connected is defective or consumed more power than possible
try changing the fuse and inspect your device before you reuse it !

You likely have a blown fuse. I have heard using the cigarette lighter for charging your cell phone can blow the fuse - was told to use the charger inside the center console for charging my cell phone.

Does the fuse blow every time you plug something into it? I guess what I'm getting at is it possibly your phone charger only, or does the fuse blow when someone else plugs thier charger in (different charger)? I guess if the fuse blows, no matter what you plug into it, I would suspect the charge port itself. Does it seem like it's loose in it's mounting bracket? You may have to replace the port.

usually the radio and the cig lighter sharing the same fuse make sure it is the right fuse you looked at i check all the fuses

1st check all fuses. 2nd why do you need to charge all the time? If your battery keeps going low and you have to charge it all the time , perhaps you need a new battery. If the charger has to give the battery a large charge then it may have caused the fuse to fail on that circut. . Is this device for a cell phone? If it is then you probably blew a fuse. Let me know if you are charging the car battery or charging a cell phone battery.

If I remember correctly if you look at the back side of the fuse cover, it should tell you what the fuses are. Also in the owners manual in the index, under fuses, it should give you a diagram of the fuse location for the acc. outlets. Good luck. The fuse should be a 20 or 25A fuse.
