If you sprayed something into the intake
I would assume you were checking for fuel

So is the fuel pump coming on?
Is the there fuel pressure at the rail on the motor?

You check for OBD Codes?
Look at any scan tool data?
Have injector Pulse or clicking?

Testing one spark plug is not a conclusive test of much
How was that test done?

You checked ALL Vehicle fuse?

Battery any good & was that tested?

Check cylinder leak down or compression at some point

This is timing, either advanced or retarded and should be controlled by the ECM unit. Check inside distributor for signs of spark shorts. Have you checked for computer codes?

I got a 2001 chevy malibu v6 3100 sfi.I just got this car Wednesday one of the coil packs are in the rong spot they got it 3 6 5 2 4 1 should be I think 5 2 6 3 4 1 and they have it wired 1 5 3 6 4 2 what is the order it goes 1 4 6 3 2 5 can someone please help me

ck wires go to starter make shur there is no broke wires or wires leaf off of starter

NEED TO CHECK FUEL PRESSURE TO SEE what it is reading truck should have 60psi if it is lower it can cause symptons injectors wont fire right with low pressure

the back firing sounds like to me that the spark plug wires are not in right position on distributor cap, firing on wrong cylinder, did you remove distributor or distributor cap?

if you vehicle has a Vortec engine it's possible for and injector poppet to spring a leak , My $$'s on the fuel pressure regulator . it's underneath the plenum (under throttle plate) and to the rear of the injector spider . most times it leaks fuel into the rear cylinders

will not start or will not turn over?
