2004 TL VSA, Engine Light on, throws P2649 code, and will not accelerate

The check engine, VSA, and exclamation light is lit on my TL. I checked the code, and it listed P2649. So far, I've replaced the entire VTEC oil assembly, but it did not clear the code. Please help.

check around the area of repair for loose ,damaged or disconnected wires or connections-especially the abs system if looks good than either bring back to mech and advise of trouble light on after repair or get scanned somewhere else most auto stores[ such as auto zone/advanced auto check ur local area] scan for free- the trouble code will give u a start point towards correcting ur problem

SOURCE: 2004 acura tl not shifting stuck on 3rd gear and check engine light and VSA light comes on. but okay after engine shut off and start up again

Somehow it is effecting the TPS (Throttle position sensor) This is the only input to go to third to fouth and not seeing the proper gear change VSA light appears.

V0122 (126-4) Permanent DTC F-CAN MALFUNCTION (ECM) PCM - VSA CONTROL MODULE UNIT) but no Service Engine light

no communication between VSA module and ECM, Check wiring, fuses, or vsa module. If vsa module it may be costly. VSA is the ABS/Trac control. Can you pull codes from vsa are the lights for vsa (ABS) coming on in the dash?

My Honda Element 2008 has a VSA Warning light and

It may be as simple as your oil condition or oil level. If you have poor oil in your engine the VTEC system will not operate properly and when RPMs reach 2800 or so it will buck. If everything checks okay with the oil have the code checked for your check engine light/VSA light.
