I have a 2000 explorer, when its been sitting it will start up but after it warms up and I start to drive it, it stalls and dies and it wont start again until it cools down and never know how long it will stay running, 2 days ago I drove 20 miles before it died and today I went 2 miles and it died went back a few hours later to pick it up and only madw it 4 blocks

First try changing the fuel filter. It is extremely easy and costs about 12 dollars at Wal-mart. If that doesn't work than try changing the fuel pump itself. Little more costly but still pretty simple to do.

i would check your ignition system. you would need a meter for this but look for broke or loose connections. if it was a fuel problem i dont think it would just start up after 20 minutes. or you might try your ignition switch. if its shorting or something then ya well it would cut your engine off real quick

It's got all the symptoms of a leak in the fuel line. You may want to start backward at the tank and work your way all the way to the carb to find it but it would be surprising if it was something else. All the best.

Check for vacuum leaks. Also try cleaning the ISV.
