-Sounds like power line to the blower motor is burn or shock.
But Check fuse and relay first. If all are good then check power line to the blower motor.

Good Luck

Ran gas now starts then turns off and smells like burning rubber

Not sure I follow your story. If you really did run out of gas, you may have damaged the fuel pump in the tank. But it would not cause any smells.
Can you tell where the smell is coming from ?

My 2001 grand marquis heater turns on but wont blow i smelled a strange smell before it quit

Could have been the resistor or the blower motor. It was probably a burning wire smell.
Check the blower motor for power and ground.

My heater just stoped working how do i tell weather its the switch or heater core

If the heater core was a problem (got a hole in it, etc) You would smell a strong anti-freeze odor while you had your blower motor turned on (any air). Any help?

Gas Smell when heater turned on

When the heater is turned on, it is drawing in air from the cowl at the bottom of the windshield outside the car. If your smelling gas when you turn it on, it would suggest to me that there may be a fuel leak under the hood. A lot of Honda's have the fuel filter under the hood against the firewall. Open the hood, and see if the gas smell is any stronger, or any gas smell at all for that matter. I would strongly recommend getting the car checked as soon as possible, if you can find the source of the smell yourself.

Car has gas smell when heater is on

my question is do you smell gas when outside the vehicle? chances are it is pulling "fresh air" from outside the vehicle and might be pulling vapors due to thew fact you have a gas leak under the hood. check your engine while running and if a gas leak is seen. turn it off imediately and repair it. do not drive it until then. happy holidays

My heater stoped blowing hot air.antifreeze level

If the blower is blowing air just fine, but you cannot control the temperature, you need to listen to air coming from the vents while turning the temperature from hot to cold. If you do n ot hear any change in airflow, then you may a temperature door in the dash broken. this is becoming a common problem on the Equinox and Pontiac Torrent,

Heater does not blow warm air

The click from He..., anyway hear is the problem, there is an electric motor that controls the door deep in the dash that sets the temperature of the outlet air, it is called a air temperature control blend door actuator, it has failed, in order to replace this part u must remove the dash assembly.
