My 2001 grand am has hard time starting first start of day

It floods its self out when i go to start it in the morning..after about 30 mins. of cranking and drying the plugs 10 times, the car will start..once it starts i can shut it off,and it will fire right up no problem...i already replaced the fuel pressure regulator, and the coolant temp sensor...still no luck with the first start....

The coolant temp sensor and the air intake sensors work together sounds like the engine control module thinks the engine is very cold and is overfueling i think the air temp sensor is in the airflow meter. get someone with a obd reader/live data monitor to help

Hard to start when 30 degress or less out.

Engine coolant sensor and Intake air sensor bad -----tech terms( ECT and IAT) The way to check these you need to hook up a scan tool to the cars computer and both of the readings for these sensor should read the same. If reading is off by 2 degrees that's ok not too off. And it should be in the morning before you start your car up. Thats the time you check it. hope this help
