That is probably because you need a key to work the immobiliser to allow it to start.

Any issues with the ignition switch itself? They are mostly made of plastic pieces. With the exception of the actual cylinder. Also depending on how long you had the battery issue,it may have damaged the alternator. They tend to go hand in hand,unless caught early enough. The alternator gets overworked due to the weak battery.

Pull it out and reinstall it. Chances are you did not get the new parts properly engaged with the opposite/complementary stops on the steering column.

It sounds like a fault in the starter circuit. It could be a defective neutral safety switch, starter solenoid, or possible a defective ignition switch but I doubt it. Can you hear the starter solenoid??? I'm willing to bet the problem is either with starter relay, neutral safety switch, or starter solenoid.

Replace the ignition switch that screws onto the back of the lock cylinder, they were a very common problem and actually subject to a recall. You could phone a nearby honda dealership with your VIN number and they may replace it for free.

provided ur battery and alernator is good it sounds like ignition key cylinder is bad u have to get from the dealer bring ur vin number or title so it can be coded to ur car

Either buy the computer from the dealer or get a whole matched set ( key, cylinder, immobiliser, PCM) from a junkyard.

yes i would change the plug wires , you can take a spray bottal with water and spray that wire, and if it starts to run real bad then it is shorting out, you may also have a injector going bad you can test this buy puting a ohms meter on it and ck the ohms it should read the same or close to the same as the other if not it will need replaced
