I can hear the window motors making loud noises when the car is NOT running and and all doors locked. i thought it might be the batteries in the remotes. i replaced batteries in both remotes but that didn't help. the motors still make whirling noises
It sounds like the power locks are making the noise to me. First the power going to the window gets shut off when you shut off the key. Second the window will not make noise unless the cable for the window regulator is broke, then the window will go down and stay down or up and wont go much of anywhere. Try to hold the power lock button and listen for the same noise. Most of the time the one of the switches go bad and keep trying to lock the car. Its usually the one that wont lock or unlock.
SOURCE: my blower motor makes loud noise on top settings
new motor by the sound of it ,but never worked on one so i couldnt tell you where it is,other than its no doubt a complete unit with the resistance so it will not be cheap
SOURCE: 2000 town and country van back door will not unlock
sounds like the lock is seized, you will have to remove the panel,it's held on with screws and snap plugs, remove all the screws and then gently pull the panel off. you will be able to open the hatch by sliding the lever sideways. the latch and mechanical lock are the same unit. it has a electrical actuator. your dealer or regular tech sould be of great help in this very simple matter.

SOURCE: Whirling sound coming from the engine
same problem on mine. i had a tune up done to the engine and they pinched the PVC hose from the air cleaner to the intake manifold. It was taken off and pinched backwards. Check the PVC valve and hose to make sure there are no restrictions
SOURCE: My front passenger side door
It's called a door lock actuator, and ours was on the driver side, buzzing each time the doors locked. Very annoying. We ordered it online, it was part #4717961AB from a Mopar company. Wasn't very easy to replace ourselves, but do-able if you have at least an hour and two people working on it. Cost us $60 plus shipping.
