Maybe a radiator flush would help. If you have a blown head gasket and its affecting the temp of your engine, you would be loosing coolant. Is there any fluid loss?

Have you tried the 8 mm bleeder screw on top of the thermostat housing? You may have air trapped behind your thermostat. Also, overheating can be caused by a collapsed lower radiator hose. If it's soft and you can squeeze it together, then under acceleration it closes down on itself thus preventing the flow of your coolant. Also check your radiator cap. It's supposed to be a 1.1 Bar cap but if it's not functioning correctly, by having to add coolant to the coolant reservoir bottle or the coolant overflow bottle overflowing, usually says it's the radiator cap. These are the simple fixes that you ,may have overlooked.

Good Luck,

My 97 jeep wrangler 4.0 is overheating badly, waterpump, thermostat, radiator, clutchfan have all been changed, and no mixing of water and oil what could it be? Also not air locked

do a compression test on cooling system just because no oil and water mix doesnt mean head gasket good ---keep an eye on fluid level possible can be burning the coolant also check flow new doesnt mean free from defects or improper installation [thermostat-water pump]

Clutch is slipping of and on 1992 325i bmw sedan

This has been a common problems on these models, even with new clutches. May also be more noticeable on inclines. Have your mechanic check the transmission mount. When they wear they cause the transmission to slightly move, which sometimes pulls on the shift linkage. The other thing you mechanic needs to check is to see if your transmission needs new shift synchronizers. Replacing them would be a transmission rebuild.

1992 Honda Civic over heating replace theormostat - still overheating air bubbles in overflow jug and in radiator when running with cap off...

here is a check list for common overheating issues low coolant? Any leaks? A headgasket leak? To test that use a coolant mix tester. Do the cooling fans run with the engine hot? Is the rad cap holding pressure? This can be tested usually its easier to swap it with a working one or buy new. Lastly the waterpump and timing belt. If the timing belt if old/high mileage or the tensioner faulty it can cause overheating. The common practice is to replace the timing belt every 100,000miles along with the waterpump and the belt tensioner
