1996 Dodge Stratus 2.4 4cyl., no start, no spark or injector pulse.

There are a few possible causes for a 1996 Dodge Stratus 2.4 4cyl. engine not starting and experiencing a lack of spark or injector pulse:
  1. Faulty ignition switch: The ignition switch is responsible for activating the electrical system when the key is turned to the "on" position. If the ignition switch is faulty, it could prevent the engine from starting.
  2. Failed crankshaft position sensor: The crankshaft position sensor is responsible for sending a signal to the engine control module (ECM) indicating the position of the crankshaft. If the sensor is faulty, it could prevent the engine from starting.
  3. Failed engine control module (ECM): The ECM is responsible for controlling the engine's ignition and fuel systems. If the ECM is faulty, it could prevent the engine from starting.
  4. Failed fuel pump: If the fuel pump is not functioning properly, it may not be able to deliver fuel to the engine, causing it to not start.
To diagnose the problem, you could try checking the ignition switch, crankshaft position sensor, and ECM for any visible problems or faults. You could also try checking the fuel pump and fuel pressure to ensure that fuel is being delivered to the engine. If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to call a professional for further assistance.

Have a 2000 Olds Alero 304 replaced fuel pump crank sensor cam sensor and fuel pressure sensor car still won't start has spark and fuel pressure can you help

Do yourself a favor an have a qualified repair shop look at . Before you buy more parts the vehicle doesn't need . A qualified repair shop would have fix it for less then what you put into it. Some people just are not meant to fix their own cars .

There is spark and fuel up to rail but injector wont come on

sounds like the injectors are not getting a signal to squirt or no fuel . Have a pressure test done on the fuel manifold to check pump, pressure regulator pressure and filters.. check injector connection to ECM

1999 pathfinder won't start

The basic story here is you have fuel pressure at the injectors but not going thru the injectors.
So the next question would be, do you have voltage on one side of the injectors and a ground pulse on the other side from the computer ?

My 2000 Oldsmobile Alero will turn over but wont start...any solutions to this problem? I did recently replace the crankshaft position sensor.

my sister in-laws did the exact same thing. we replaced fuel filter pump and injectors. All the time it was old spark plugs. It kept cranking but wouldn't start. spent less than $20 on new spark plugs and it fired right up and is still running strong

1996 f-350 power stroke 7.3 4x4 standerd stalls have changed all sensors and fuel injecter mod and it still stalls

Have you changed the fuel filter? Check your fuel pressure for whether you have a bad pump. Try checking the fuel lines for drawing air. Check for a crankshaft or Camshaft sensor being bad.

The Injector Module you installed depends on getting a signal to fire the Injectors. It needs good pressure from the pump and a good fuel line to the pump. Mechanical injectors relied on timing the gears of the pump to inject at the right time; the electronic injectors need to sense the position of the crank and cam.

This in basic form will deliver fuel to say Number 1 piston, and then it refines the process to deliver fuel at so many degrees TDC so you get the optimum power from the fuel. You need to check this timing as it is how a mixture is made rich or lean.

The stuff you have already done may be perfect, but a frozen Turbo or bad timing in the crank to cam parts will give you similar problems.

No fuel pressure to engine

The Filter could be a cheap fix, and might work but probably not. Have someone check the fuel pressure, if its really low then you need to check to see if all of your injectors are "hitting". If they are then more than likely its your fuel pump !!
