My 2005 golf hit a bump and quit.Now it will turn over but won't start?

Do you have a air bag light on the dash ? Check ground circuit for lose connection . Ground G203
In the I/P harness, on the left side of the I/P near the A-pillar below the I/P top cover .

You killed the tranmissision in it , Have a nice bill for your (Screwup)

If the engine won't turn over, you have a starting
issue to diagnose, before the no run & fuel pump
issues

check your blower moter connection it might be loose

The ABS, ( anti-lock break system ) has a sensor on each wheel that can come lose after hitting dips and speed bumps. If you are mecahanical you may be able to fix it yourself, if not, any auto shop can fix it in just a couple of minutes.

I'm not real sure about the tc, ( traction control ) system, sorry.

i would be checking the lower ball joints if they arent replaced soon they will come undone at the worst time and you will then need a tow truck or flat bed

suspect wiring fault ,remove battery and tray trace wiring from gearbox sender just behind mounting to were it goes into main wiring harness strip back tape usually 1/2 wires will have broken.this depends on which model of vw you have. vwsparky.

Check the fan motor, it is probably going out. Next time it should be running but is not, tap on the fan motor lightly and it may start. If it does, then replace the motor.
