My car shows several error messages, immobiliser see manual, steering system failure and another about brakes or abs. I have not seen the alarm light blinking and the steering lock neither locks or unlocks however is unlocked. Battery has been charged to 12.6 volts at rest. I can get all electricals to do with lights windows radio etc and when the key is turned to on there is no clicking from relays in engine fusebox
check battery voltage, this clicking is usually caused by insufficient voltage to the starter. You can bring the battery to autozone and they can test it for free!!

When the engine stops, the power steering stops because the engine powers the power steering pump with the serpentine belt.
There could be many reasons the engine stopped and the fuel pump is just one of them. Check for DTCs and diagnose the vehicle electronically with a pro grade scan tool computer.
Hi there's this website something like reliable-store and it is very amazing for manual for repairing servicing anything
someone on fixya r ecommended it to me and I thank him even today
They have full manuals and it's verrrrry cheap and mine
I got free in offers
3rd time I bought it, I also had an issue with the file so the girl replaced it in 30 mins
there is one website more but i don't remember its name it was 2 years back bitman something link this
Try these out brother
the injectors arte electronically controlled so check the immobiliser. cam crank position sensors. run fault codes. I nothing shows up have an accredited diesel specialist shop check the pump as there may be a high pressure problem ( pump failure-- common in common rail diesels as they will not tolerate dirty fuel, water and some additives in the fuel)
Just fixed my error. My abs light came on every time I turned on the wipers, then in the message center after several times showed "brake system data error" turned out to be a loose ground and that fixed the problem. . .
Having the vehicle checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's would be a good first step . ABS light on codes are stored . Suggest you take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop that has the knowledge an testing equipment to diagnose the problem properly . Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS)
The 4-wheel, 4-channel anti-lock brake system (ABS) consists of the following components:
ABS module
Front wheel speed sensor
Front wheel speed sensor ring (integral to the front wheel bearing)
Hydraulic control unit (HCU)
Rear wheel speed sensor
Rear wheel speed sensor ring (integral to the rear halfshaft)
Yellow ABS warning indicator
As you can see here , it can set numerous
DTC'S Why guess an replace parts that won't fix the problem .

Power which holds the gears longer before change up....
Economy....gears change normally....
Snow....traction control...This last mode uses the ABS
A anti lock B brake S system
The ABSsystem automatically monitors the rotational speed of each wheel, and when brakes are applied, releases any brake about to lock up, independent of the others.
This is done because when wheels lock and skid, traction and control is lost....
Traction control brakes any wheel which begins to lose traction under power, spinning too fast and thereby also loosing traction if it was not controlled...
Hope this answers your question
It can be a slippery subject but we can slide across it....In a controlled way naturally
Best regards Johngee10
i have same prob but mines diesel 02 .
it's the abs rings get them for about £17 hyundai say they dont do them you have to get complete unit drive shafts comes as 1 ,approx £350
i thought mine was the disc's but very rare, abs rings 100%
