I have a 2001 Buick Regal 3.8 LS. I am getting a p403 and I don't know how to find the name of the part to replace. My mechanic pointed out the part to me and told me to tell Autozone we needed the part he pointed to Autozone could not find it in their inventory. I went to Pep Boys. They do not carry it either and told me it is an air vacuum solenoid valve. I looked up that so I could order it and nothing shows up under that. This part of interest that I need looks like a possible relay. My mechanic said it is causing a weak vacuum and I need to replace it. He is real good at fixing things because he understands mechanics but he does not speak English well. I know if I can get him the part he will put it in right. Meanwhile I do not want to embarass him. Does anyone know the name of the part I should order or ask for? Apparently this is a dealer part. Thanks

This is a transmission issue, TCC is Torque Converter Control, the solenoid is inside the trans, unless you are a well versed technician I would leave this to the transmission experts, you might try premium assistance for someone that can provide more detailed step by step repair procedures if you are determined to do the repair yourself.
