SOURCE: 2001 chevy blazer not starting

I had this same problem with my 1997 Blazer, which required a fuel pump replacement as Nitrobike said. The sign to look for is when you get in the Blazer, turn your key forward to the accessory position, but not the start position. You should hear the fuel pump charging. It sounds like a hissing or whirring noise for about 2-3 seconds while it pumps fuel into the lines to prime the engine.

Fuel pump replacement isn't cheap, about $700-$1000.

SOURCE: 2002 Monte Carlo wont start

sounds like your passlock sensor on the ignition barrel is faulty. you will have to go to the dealer to have it replaced because of the programming after replacement.

SOURCE: 2003 Trailblazer- no power after key stuck in ignition

Sounds like an antitheft problem I would start with the antitheft system. Usually when you only have one key all keys have to be programmed together even the original. When you have more than one it is easy to program additional keys.

SOURCE: it wont start turn key dash lights up nothing happens

sounds like a dead battery to start with. Not even enough juice in the battery to energize the solenoid / brake interlock to get it out of PARK. Hope this helps

Bmw z3 1999 will not crank

The problem sounds like the battery has run down. Even though the ignition is off, things like clocks and the radio draw small amounts of power to retain their settings, and the instrument cluster doesn't draw as much power as the starter. It usually takes about a month or so to drain the battery. Try jump starting the car, or put it on a battery charger for a while.

This is an indication that you have a bad or loose connection at the battery. Check the cable ends on the battery and clean them of any green looking stuff. Make sure all connection are tight at the battery.

The first thing I would do is clean your battery connections very good. you may have to remove the plastic covers off the cable ends to get them cleaned good. Also make sure you get the connection bolts tight.

After drive even short distance i shut pickup off and go to restart and starter acts like not getting juice i turn key no solenoid click the battery test out good.

this could be simply that the connections are corroded , clean off all the battery contact points, and remember just because a battery says 12v doesn't mean its fully charged, its the amp build up that you need, try jumping it after you clean up all the connections, and when it starts, check the voltage again, while its running, you should get a reading of 13.5 to 14.5 volts , if not have the alternator bench checked

Turn the key and nothing happens

check the neutral safty switch, if this is bad it will not start in park. put it ineutral and see if it starts. if so switch is bad. also the vehicles made lately have a switch in back of brake pedal witch means brake has to be pressed to start car. check safety switch first.

When I turn the key to start the vehicle, it acts dead

Sounds to me like you need the starter solenoid replaced or may-be the neutral safety switch. If the car always starts in neutral but not in park the safety switch is the culprit, otherwise the solenoid or the starter is to blame.
