Pathfinder doesnt start

I've met several technicians. the vehicle (pathfinder 1999) moves and stalls, makes a lot of sounds and jerks when it wants to accelerate. the fuel filter was changed and after then, the vehicle moves and stops. Later the airflow was changed.presently it doesn't start until I remove the airflow. the vehicle doesn't accelerate and still jerks

Sounds like you are not getting any oxygen into your motor or you may have a bad Oxygen Sensor or maybe even a bad Catalytic Converter. I would also check my MAP and my Air Intake Control sensors

SOURCE: 1999 Pathfinder shuts off while running.

It could be one or all of 4 sensors. the MAF, the MAP or the idle position sensor or dirty fuel injectors. the fuel injectors can be cleaned with an over the counter fuel injector cleaner bottle that you pour in your tank.If these do not fix it, it will be the EGR valve or a vacuum leak to the EGR. Check the fuel injectors first by buying the cleaning product. then check for vacuum leaks around the Fuel injector housing. Buying some starting fluid and spraying it over the small hoses while the car is running will make the engine stall when the fumes from the starting fluid get into the system. then have it scanned again to more or less tell which sensor it is. it could very well work with the fuel injector cleaner.

SOURCE: changed mass air sensor still stalling 1997 nissan pathfinder

As a factory Nissan trained Technician with dealership experience - it can be many things, but it sounds alot like a mis-adjusted or faulty TPS, and/or a faulty IAC(Idle air control) valve - I'd try the TPS and set to appx. .50 vdc (.47/.49) Volts DC and if that isn't it, I'd definitely look to the idle air control valve ( allows for air bypass - sometimes called bypass air control valve). May then need base timing and idle set at shop with OBDII ignition disabling option, for seting timing and idle, otherwise computer won't allow proper setting...then if connector to IAC is OK - should be just fine...

SOURCE: 2005 Pathfinder Heat Flow problem

I am having/had the same problem. My rear heater has not worked the last 2 winters, still trying to figure that one out. But I think I solved the front heat problem myself. The heater was blowing cold air while idling and hot air when the car was moving.

I jacked up the front of the vehicle, took the cap off of the reserve tank for the radiator, turned the car on and ran the heat (AC off) for 15 minutes. This is supposed to release any air bubbles in the coolant system and I did see air bubbles emerge as I was watching (this might be normal occurance, I'm far from a mechanical expert). Anyway, this did not immediately solve the problem, still blowing cold air as it sat there idling after 15 minutes. Dejected, I put the cap back on, lowered the vehicle and resigned myself to taking it to a dealer.

But a funny thing happened the next day, the coolant level was a lower (no leaks on the floor) so I filled up, and sure enough, when I started the car and let it warm up a little, hot air started coming out of the heater!!!

As far as my wife knows, I fixed the problem for the price of a bottle of coolant, so I am a hero...but at first I thought it didn't work. Here we are a month later and still blowing warm air and haven't had to replace any more coolant...the internet is a wonderful thing!

Hope this works for you, and I hope I can figure out my rear heater problem as well.

SOURCE: at a stop car jerks forward with brakes applied

Are the engine rpms climbing when its jerking forward? seems like it could be a Transmission torque converter problem.

2006 Nissan Pathfinder. I was driving my vehicle when I heard a sound like a spring popped and it hit the pavement and sound like metal but I could not find anything in the road. It still drives.

Get the suspension springs checked. Park the vehicle on a flat, level surface with no-one in it. Stand back and carefully look at the vehicle. Sometimes when a spring fails the vehicle will lean towards the broken side. The tail ends of the spring can break off when they are old and the broken bits don't always fall out when it happens.
The stall could be something separate. Do you have any warning lights on the dash? If the charcoal canister is starting to fail it often causes the check engine light to turn on as it will affect the emissions. This will trigger other engine sensors to flag up a trouble code.
