The abs light means the system is disabled. You would need to have it checked for trouble codes to proceed. The noise could be the speed sensor on one of the front wheels.

SOURCE: Anti-lock brake light stays on

My wife took the car to exaust pro in Lexington, Ky. They did a scan and it was a speed sensor. They replaced it and it is fine. The car is great but after hearing all the complaints about the heater core we are going to sell it and get a Toyota Avalon. Also I replaced the antenna mast at 35k.

SOURCE: R&R rotors and calipers on 2005 Ford 500 to do brake job

use a large c-clamp to bottom out the caliper pistons remove the caliper bolts .slip out the pads and remove the caliper from the disk
hang the caliper from a coathanger wire to avoid damaging the brakeline after replacement of the pads;brake bleeding is not needed Rotors are held on to the axle like a wheel; with bolts

SOURCE: I REPLACED FRONT BRAKE ROTORS

Try replacing the brake hose. Sometimes they wear out, get soft and expand inside to the point that they restrict fluid returning to the mater cylinder.

Why does my 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix make a clicking sound when braking right after the brakes were changed?

My first guess would be one of the brake pads or the caliper is moving. You should be able to jack up one wheel at a time and find out where the noise is coming from.

I have a 2002 Passat V6 Wagon and the brakes and rotors were replaced (aftermarket parts) about 3 months ago. The CV boots were replaced 2 weeks ago. When I apply the brakes, about 3/4 of the way down,...

Check and see if the Brake Pads were re-installed with all the hardware, ie, Anti-Rattle Clips, shims etc. if your pads are not secure in the Calipers it will cause the pads to rattle when you are driving in effect causing your brakes to make weird noises, ie, groaning, squealing, rattling.

Fog horn noise from rt front break when brakes are warm and applied

you need new brake pads and rotors, what is happening is the brake pads are heating up and the moisture in the pads is coming out in between the pads and rotors basically making them hydroplane and vibrate at an extreamly fast rate

Grand Am clicking noise

I really doubt this can't be fixed, the car is 8 years old and most likely it may have some worn components in the front end like the Constant Velocity joints, also have the btrake pad anti rattle springs replaced or checked for condition, the brakes can make this noise if the springs loose there tension.

Front hub bearing. If you were the one who replaced the pads you should have turned the hub while the caliper was off and checked for roughness or wobble. Imagine the rotor wandering from side to side and rubbing the pads; thats what a worn hub will do.
