While driving on freeway, car just died. Wont start up now. When I crank the key, sounds like it wants to turn over but just cant. changed coil pack, thought that might be it, still wont start. Any suggestions? lost power no spark car turns over changed coul on good

As with any no start problem, have you checked for spark at the plugs and normal fuel pressure at the injectors ?
Does it crank with normal compression ?
I would have to say judgeing from the age of the vehicle .
Running at highway speeds it is a fuel problem
Eighter clogged fuel filter or the fuel punp is worn out try to get the fuel pressure tested it must be giveing you codes
However 95 -96 is the first year for OBD 2 AND HAD SOME PROBLEMS

best run the fault codes as the fauty will be recorded there
are you using the original key for the car because it sounds like a theft system problem I had a 2000 jeep that did the same thing it would start for a bit and then quit on me found out that the key has a chip in it so the key i got cut works for the lockes but cant use to run the car
Is there any white smoke coming out the exhaust? Sounds like the same problem my friend had when he warped his head on his 91 civic. Any overheating at all? Otherwise another guess would be maybe a bad catalitic converter that clogged up. Hope this helps any, good luck
