01 sentra when i accelerate my car doesnt speed up and it makes a wooofing noise

Sounds like a loose wheel, check them ,

The speed control of your fan has resisters that are in the venting system to blow air on them to keep them cool. If they overheat and or burn you will lose your low and medium speeds of the fan. If you run the fan at full see if the smell goes away. Your engine could be burning oil on the outside of the engine block, make sure that the weatherstrip where your hood meets the fresh air intake grill is sealing tight.

check fuel filter and emissions controls for leaks when was the last tuneup?

Could be the speed sensor in the transaxle.

if it moves it could be a broken wire if it doesnt move it could be sized

can you hear this through the stereo?  If so you may have a problem created somewhere in your ignition , where the stereo is picking up a fluctuating signal.

get belt dressing and spray some on the belts try that / if you still hear some noise look for noise in special places like alternator steering pump and or the ac compressor/ Please rate my response thank you very much
