SOURCE: fuel filter location

The oil filter is in an aluminum cylinder on the engine. It is not a "spin on" filter, it is now a cartridge-type filter. When you get one, make sure that you use the new o-rings provided in the filter box. The fuel filter is in the tank. Hope this helps, the graciousness of a FixYa rating would be appreciated. Thanks.

SOURCE: 1999 toyota avalon horn works intermitely

I would suggest to you to have the spiral cable (or 'clockspring') replaced. This is the electrical unit that transfers power to the air bag, the horn and the cruise control.

It is located right under the seering wheel.

Your description of the issue indicates to me that your spiral cable is loose, and making intermittant contact. If the vehicle had an air-bag deployment, this cable-device should have been changed.

SOURCE: The remote start for my Toyota Landcruiser Prado 2008 model is

Hi, please leave 4 thumbs up for this answer.
This could be as simple as taking it down to the dealer and asking them to reprogramme the remote under the factory warranty. Before you do this however, please check to make sure the battery in the remote is not loose between the contacts, if they are tight on the battery, then a $5 battery replacement may solve the issue. I hope these hints help, ultimatly, your warranty will cover you at no charge. Safe driving. Thankyou.

SOURCE: where is the oil filter located on a 2008 toyota

Should be a paper insert filter. Should be a black plastic screw on cap that you must remove to expose the filter.

Were is the battery for the garage door opener in a 2008 avalon. the manual says replace it before programing it

There is no battery the opener is powered by the fuse box power distribution.Maybe the manual is asking you to make sure your garage remote has a fully charged battery.

2008 Toyota Avalon Battery Problem

I doubt this is a smart key problem, the key uses a chip and its own battery. Something in the car is causing a drain, a light is staying on possibly. Trunk light, glove box light, under hood light... maybe you have a portable GPS unit plugging into the auxilary port? Just a thought. This is not a common problem that has been reported by Avalon owners as of yet.
